Lions and Tigers

Today I took the kids to see "Amazon John." It was a free show put on by the local library. All you needed to get in was some canned goods...easy enough! The kids were excited when I told them they would see some different animals, however they were disappointed that it wasn't the zoo. I guess they expected tigers to be brought into the elementary gym! ha!

"Amazon John" and "Bear" The dog was actually quite entertaining. He could do several tricks, and was called Bear because when Amazon John pointed to him he was trained to show his teeth and snarl! The kids thought it was hilarious! (ok maybe I did too!)

Some critter that looks sort of like a monkey, but it's not. He said its an animal that's on Diego all the time...I will have to watch the cartoon to remember its name!

The kids were in awe most of the time...I need something like this everyday!

At the end of the show you could pet any of the animals you wanted, well all except the monkey thing. There was a snake, bullfrog, rabbits, grasshoppers and a turtle.

All and all it was a great few hours with friends, and critters! Plus I got to use my NEW camera....

This isn't my exact one, but close. I got a Canon T3 with 2 lenses. I'm SUPER excited!!! Unfortunately today I had to use the dreaded "auto" mode because I haven't been able to practice with it much. BUT have no fear I will be the annoying camera lady soon enough! ha!

A Little of Everything

This will be a random collage of everything...you okay with that..okay here we go...

We've been "ballers" for the past couple months. Jax has fell in LOVE with baseball! He wants to to play everyday out in the yard, even when it's a sweltering 100*! Mama doesn't like that part of it! He knows the names of several teams, so he tells us who we play for and if we win or lose! Surprisingly his team ALWAYS wins! ha! Here are a few pictures of the last game....you will see at the end his favorite part of the whole season!

We've also been swimming a ton! The weather is cooling back down this week, but I figure the kids won't care...they will still be begging for sunscreen and bathing suits.

We've also been going to the lake every weekend now. I need to start remembering to take more pictures out on the lake. We have such a great time with all our friends down there. Makes me so happy all the memories we create on the lake :) I know our kids will forever have stories to tell about their childhood on the water!

My goal for the summer is to get Laney (my stubborn child) to learn her ABC's. Luckily she is FINALLY letting me teach her! We are chugging along, she's up to J, and has mastered the sounds too. I'm proud of her. It was touch and go at first because she wants things her way, or NO WAY! Glad she is starting to figure out I do actually know what I'm talking about! At least for today she realizes it, tomorrow may be another story! ha!

We haven't been terribly busy, but it still seems like we run in circles some days. I've told myself it's summer, if my house is dirty so be it...now if I can just get my OCD to agree with me! Till next time kids.....

A Rotten Apple

I debated whether or not to write this post, but decided to go ahead. I was reminded a few weeks ago that there are "bad apples" in this world. Bad apples can ruin a whole pie, ya know. Due to the "bad apple" that left this comment "What the fuck is that to brag about? And why do you put up pics of her naked here? She is not a baby anymore so maybe you should teach her some manners or maybe you should keep that private? " anonymous people can no longer leave comments on my blog. I'm sorry to those NICE anonymous commenter's, but you can thank the TURD that left the ugly comment!

And to Mr./Ms. Anonymous: Last time I checked this was MY blog, and you are not being forced to read it. Feel free to not read it ever again. I'm pretty sure I don't need people like you in my life anyway. I also love that you question my daughter's manners simply by looking at a picture. Quite the little "judger" aren't you :) My daughter has great manners, for the most part, just like any 3 year old. Here's an idea for you, how about you raise your kids the way YOU want, and I will raise mine the way I want. Sounds fair enough to me. I would love for you to come forward, perhaps not be a coward and hide behind the "anonymous" button. I suspect I won't hear from you though. That's how bad apples are, they hide when being confronted. Anyway, I wish you the best Anonymous, and I'm sorry I wasted post space on your ugly comment.

Peanuts and Crackerjacks

Jax had his first t-ball game yesterday. He did great! He was so excited that he didn't have to use the tee either time he batted. He also says he got a home run. Technically he was the last batter, so they sent him around all the bases instead of just to first. I let him think he got the homer...I wasn't crushing the dreams of the future Babe Ruth :)

Life of A Three Year Old

Just a quick post because the kids are waking, and they automatically assume I'm going to feed them...whatever :)

Yesterday Jax and Laney were outside playing. I hear her start to cry, then here she comes running in the door. Now you have to picture her....her hair is a total mess, half of her ponytail has fallen down, her nose is running (from the crying), her cheeks are red from the coolness, and her clothes look like she's had them on for 10 days! This is what happens next...

Me: What's wrong?

Laney: My thing is broke!! (at least this is what I got through all the crying and DRAMA!)

Me: What are you talking about?

Laney: My bike...it's down...it won't work...

Me: You wrecked your bike?

Laney: NO!!!! The thing I move when I wave to people.

Me: What are you talking about? side note: at this point she is BAWLING! I'm pretty sure most was in frustration because her ignorant mother couldn't figure out what she was talking about! ha!

Laney: MY DINGER! MY DINGER IS HANGING DOWN AND IT WON'T DING ANYMORE!!!! (she screams this to me)

Me: laughing uncontrollably, while crossing my legs so I don't pee my pants (that's what 2 kids will do to ya!)

Laney: MY DINGER IS BROKENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me: hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

So in case you didn't figure it out, the bell on her bike had turned under the handlebars. Poor kid couldn't "ding" at her brother! Don't worry the dinger has since been fixed, and all is well in her three year old world again :)

Practice Makes Perfect

So I've been learning to use the "manual" setting on my camera. The reason being is I'm dying to get one of these....

Canon EOS Rebel T3

I've got to save up my pennies to get it, but that's okay. It gives me time to learn how to set up the settings (does that make sense?). My photog friend Erica told me to practice, practice, practice. So I have been! And I am so dang tired of taking pictures of objects, and MOVING kids. So I asked a friend if I could take some maternity pictures, just for some real practice. She was game! So yesterday afternoon I tested my skills. I was pleasantly surprised with myself! ha! Here are just a few of the finished product (and please critique away. Any advice is greatly appreciated!)....

And So It Begins...

the bleacher butt that is! Today was Jax's first t-ball practice. So that means the beginning of bleacher butt galore! From now until he's out of school I will be sitting in bleachers somewhere, watching some sport. I'm okay with it though! As long as he's loving it, so will I! And after today, he's in LOVE! He talked about how many times he hit the ball, and how many times he threw the ball, and how fast his cleats made him run. It made my heart melt, and so do his "fast" little cleats...just look at them, they are so stinkin' cute!!!

The games start in a few weeks, and it should be entertaining to say the least! I will post "action" shots when the season starts. I'm just hoping the action shots aren't of him playing in the dirt, or picking weeds! ha!! Until then I'm off to watch basketball...I mean Kentucky is in the Final Four BABY!!! (that was my Dick Vitale impersonation in case you couldn't figure it out! ha)

The Post In Which I Show My Age...

I'm getting old I'll admit that. Granted I'm not THAT old, but I'm dating myself with this post. I realize more and more the topic of my conversations is what kids are doing "these days". To be quite honest it scares the holy crap out of me!! What was bad when I was a teenager is nothing now. Kids these days (OMG I can't believe I said that!!!) would laugh at what was "rebellious" in my day. If I said "I tried my first cigarette at 13" they would say "really? My parent's buy mine for me since I'm only 16." That's how much time has changed. I was scared of my parents, which I think is a good thing! Today kids tell their parents what they are going to do instead of the other way around. It totally drives me batty!!! I have a younger generation of friends on my facebook and the pictures and status' that they post in mind blowing! Every status has a cuss word (don't get me wrong I say my fair share), but it's as if they can't talk with out dropping the f-bomb. And the pictures, lord don't even get me started on the pictures. It's nothing to see a girl posting pictures of her boyfriend kissing all over her, or her friends grabbing her crotch. I don't get it. I mean some of the kids have older people ( yeah that would be me!) as friends, they do realize that I know their parents and it would be so easy for me to show these parent's what their "baby" is doing. Sadly, I don't think the kids would even care. If they cared they wouldn't be posting stuff like that in the first place. Or maybe their parent's are aware of the stuff they are posting, and are okay with it. Who knows! It makes me fearful of what it will be like when my 5 year old is a teenager, or even worse my 3 year old DAUGHTER.....excuse me while I go have a mild panic attack! I feel like as a society we have gone crazy. For example the MTV show "Teen Mom" or "16 And Pregnant" why the heck do we have shows like this on tv?!?! Why give these kids attention, and MONEY, for their wrongful behavior? I read an article where MTV said "we produce these shows to let teenagers see how hard these teen moms struggle, so they won't make the same mistakes". Really? I'm guessing (going back into my stupid teenage brain) that all they see is a teenage girl who has gotten all kinds of magazine coverage and her own show at 16. I can hear them in the cafeteria now "oh my gawd did you see last nights episode....uh I so wish I could be on there...I mean Jim is so hot....I would so want him to be my baby daddy....oh and did you see her new car she got since last season...totally sick!!!" I just don't get it. Sadly I probably never will because you know I'm practically an old bag lady at the ripe ol' age of 29. It's nothing now to walk through a mall and see high school kids pregnant with their boyfriend covered in tattoos. I saw a freshman with tattoos the other day. I just wanted to shake him, tell him how much he would regret that lizard tramp stamp when he gets older...oh wait maybe that's me with the spring break tattoo gone wrong....horribly wrong! That's a prime example, my tramp stamp (do you know how humiliating it is to say that!). I got a lizard tattoo my senior year of high school. I mean it was the COOL thing to do on spring break ya know! I told my mom as soon as I got home...pretty sure she wanted to beat the holy you know what out of me. I didn't tell my dad, why you ask because he WOULD have BEAT THE HOLY H*** out of me. A few months later my dad (accidentally) saw my tattoo. I will never forget that conversation. It was the only time my dad told me he was disappointed in me. Talk about ripping "daddy's little girls" heart right out and stomping on it!!! But notice how I had FEAR of my father. Not today, today dad's sign the consent form so their 12 year old can get "tatted up". I mean it is the cool thing to do during recess, right? Anyway, I should probably step down off my soap box now. Maybe go lock my kids in their closets till their, oh I don't know, say 35. I mean surely they can make good decisions by then, and not be influenced my some STUPID MTV show, or some ignorant friend for that matter! I just hope that my kids will always respect me, and have the sense to make good choices. And just so we are clear...I don't mind tattoo's (actually I like them, just not on junior high kids!), and I know some parents are doing the very best they can. I'm fully aware that we can't be with our kids 24/7! I mean we all know your sophomore doesn't want you sitting in class with her while she's trying to flirt with Mr. Wonderful.

Batter Up

The weather was gorgeous today, so the kids were sent out to play ~~give me peace and quiet!~~ I was surprised when I saw this flash of orange out my front door. The boys ALWAYS play "demo cars" in the Little Tikes cars, but today they practiced! That's what they said they were doing anyway. T-Ball starts in a few weeks, so I guess they thought they needed to be prepared. This is Jax's first year, so he's pumped!! Titan played last year, so he's already a pro :)

Not sure why Titan is throwing left handed, since he's a righty! I didn't even notice til Denny looked at the pics!

I'm excited for the games to start. I haven't been to a t-ball games in forever, so I'm excited for the entertainment! Seeing 4/5 year olds run around like lunatics...that's my kind of fun!!

Distractions...

This week I've been trying to distract myself from something going through my head. It's nothing that I feel like sharing with the world at this moment, but know that it's nothing to serious. It's hard to do, very hard. Especially when it's something that you want to think about constantly, but your heart is telling you not to. A friend of mine told me to pray for peace in my heart. I'm trying, trying really hard. I say the prayer numerous times a day. She told me also that God has a plan for me, and it's His plan, NOT mine. That's another thing that's hard for me. I have a STRONG type A personality. I have my ducks in a row, and don't mess them up! She says maybe God is trying to teach me a lesson right now. The lesson being that when I want something it's not always when He wants something. When I need something, it's not when He wants me to have it. So I continue to say my prayer of peace...all day, every day. I will say this prayer til I'm blue in the face, if that's what it takes. I will say it so many times that I feel it, that I mean it, and that it's true. I want peace in my heart, I NEED it.

Maybelline Shine Sensation Lip Gloss in cherry kiss. This is my "go to" I've been through enough of these that I pretty much OWN Maybelline!

Udderly Smooth Udder Cream Love this stuff! My hands are so dry in the winter they crack. I'm constantly washing and using sanitizer (that's what happens when you work in health care!), so this lotion helps to moisturize my hands without leaving them all slimy!

Ralph Lauren sunglasses case...do I really even need to explain this or what's in it?!?!

Calculator that I'm suppose to use at the grocery to make sure I stay in budget, but most of the time Laney ends up with it because it keeps her occupied!

I'm All Grown Up

Last night we had a "girl's night out"! It was tons of fun. It's so nice to go out, catch up, trash talk the husbands, and just have an all around good time.

We started out at a winery. I've never been a wine drinker. I've tried different kinds here and there, but they always taste horrible to me. I'm a beer girl, plain and trashy. ha! Kelly has told me that there is a wine out there for me I just have to find it. Well she was right! After tasting several last night I picked my poison....

French Lick Red. I swear they just bottled up Concord Grape Juice! Maybe that's why I like it so well. I felt so grown up purchasing a bottle of wine. It was like I've evolved to this mature woman! Of course then we left there, hit up a bar, and guess what I got BEER! haha Even after all that I went back to my tried and true friend!

Here's a little snap shot of what it's like for me when I'm trying to take pictures of something other than my kids...

They can't stand it!! If I take 10 pictures the heathens are usually in at least 8 of them! I usually end up having to go lock myself in a room to get them out of the picture...sad I know!

Also, I'm working on my picture taking skills. I have a nice camera, but I want to upgrade to a fancy schmancy one (Canon Rebel please!). My friend, and AWESOME photographer, Erica is giving me pointers on the manual settings and such, but I'm asking for any other advice you guys might have. Please remember though I'm no where near a pro (hence the practice!), so please "dumb it down" for me. Any advice, or websites would be greatly appreciated! The camera I have now is a Canon Power Shot S2 1S (if that's something you need to know).

Fashion Show

I attended my first fashion show the other night. It was quite spectacular, if I do say so myself! It had the cutest model EVER!! I was also lucky enough to go backstage, and see the "prep" that goes into it. I took a few pictures, but this one is my fav. I think the fella getting the model ready is also pretty stunning...

I mean it probably takes them hours to prepare. Just look at that pile of "utensils" and such! I'm so glad I was lucky enough to see a HIGH fashion show like this....hope to see another one some day!

p.s. Jax will probably kill me for this one day :)

Did you see that...they are OUTSIDE!! Woo hoo!! Finally, the sun was shining yesterday and the temps topped out at 70! Glory hallelujah! They were able to go out and burn some serious energy, and give my some peace.

It's so good for them (and me!) to get out and run, and play!

Have you seen the website walmart.com? If you haven't please leave my blog IMMEDIATELY, and go check it out. No wait, first go to the bathroom, then go there...I'd hate for someone to pee their pants! Yes, it's that funny! All of the pictures on that site are taken by people like me and you...except I take pictures like that EVERYWHERE, not just walmart. So here's the point of this post...I can't take these said pictures any more. My blackberry has been ~~dropped~~ gently laid down one to many times. For awhile I could just take the battery out, put it back in, and waa lah camera ready. Well, that no longer works....nothing does. It was a sad day for me :( Seriously I take pictures of all kinds of stuff, good and bad. My friends enjoy when I send them these random pictures, of weirdos and things. Daily I grab my phone to take a picture, then I remember...it's really quite sad isn't it? Like today for example I saw these two teenage girls walking out of Target in little shorty shorts...its 50 degrees!!! I know this is warm compared to the weather we've had, but really? So I reached for my phone to take a picture, and send to some lucky person,...then it hit me...#@$% blackberry!!!! Denny is due for an upgrade, so I'm trying to get him to order the iPhone, and then kindly give it to me. So far he looks at me like I have 5 heads. At this rate there will be no weirdo pictures till May when I can upgrade...I say BOO to that!!!

Tonight Denny and I were putting sheets Laney's bed, and this is what Denny found...

I had seen bits and pieces of "stuffing" around the house for the last couple days, but just thought it had fell out of this elephant Jax has...

If you look closer you can see the hole in his trunk...

I had Jax bring his elephant to me when Den found the PILE, but the trunk wasn't flat. So that leads to Miss "innocent" Laney. I asked her where all that had come from under her bed. Her response "Titan". Of course blame it on one of the "loaner" kids. I mean that seems logical since he's not here to defend himself. When I told her to tell the truth, where did it come from. She responds "Titan! He had a hole." Then it hits me...She has a stuffed bear that she named Titan. He's a cute bear see...

Well, he WAS a cute bear....

Now he has a HUGE hole in his head! When we asked her why she did that she said "it kept sticking out, so I kept pulling." We couldn't help but laugh at her. I mean it makes sense, keep pulling till you can't pull any more! She's so funny! I have to admit I was a little relieved. I saw a preview for the show Strange Addictions the other day, and the woman had an addiction to eating the foam out of couch cushions! There for a minute I thought Laney had an addiction to pulling stuffing! ha!!

the CRAZY train! I'm the engineer of this train, so hop on! (just for the record it took me 15 minutes to think of the word engineer. I kept thinking it was "captain") I'm losing my mind, or maybe have already lost it. Just last night I was heating up some water for hot chocolate, or thought I was. When I opened the microwave, stuck my finger in the water to check the temp, there was NOTHING there. That's right I put an empty cup in microwave. I can't help but laugh at myself. I do things like this all the time. Just last week I searched for the remote for a good five minutes before I realized it was IN MY HAND!!! I'm going to blame this lack of brain cells on my kids. When I was pregnant with Jax we joked I was getting more stupid by the month. The same thing happen with Laney, and sadly my brain cells didn't come back! I'm thinking I gave them all to my kids, so they are going to be freakin' smarty tarty's!!! Please tell me you guys do this too?!?! I need to be able to tell Denny that it's not just me on the "crazy train"!

I can't believe it!! I swear it was just yesterday that I was going to the hospital. It's crazy how fast the time has gone. Right now he's sitting by me in his duck jammies playing cars, and in the blink of an eye he will be sitting here on HIS laptop. Breaks a mama's heart :( I tell him all the time he will always be my baby boy. He's says he's a "big boy, NOT a baby". In my eyes he will always be that fluffy haired baby! As I wipe my tears just one more HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAX....you're the best son a mama could ask for!

I've worked with you for many of days now. I've come to the conclusion that we have a love hate relationship. Most days you hate me! That's okay the feeling was mutual. I've rearranged this blog design five million times, and still I'm not totally pleased with it. At one point I started totally from scratch, deleted every last thing. Last night I almost left it that way, taking the minimalist approach. I still want "tabs" on the side with my "about me, blogs I read" etc, but I want my own funky font, not the plain jane blogger has to offer. I have had MANY failed attempts at this, so if anyone, ANYONE has any advice for this your help will be GREATLY appreciated. So blogger as for now I'm leaving my blog alone, at least til my eyes aren't crossed and I can control banging my head against the table. When you are ready to cooperate please let me know! Mother's Guilt

Why is it as a mother I allow myself to feel guilty? I feel guilty if I leave my children somewhere, so I can have a night out. I feel guilty if I leave my children with their OWN father, so I can run some errands. I always rush at whatever it is I've left them to do. I always say "this time I will relax, take my sweet time and enjoy it." But it never fails the whole time I'm thinking "got to hurry so I can get the kids, or better hurry supper is in a hour." I know my kids are in great hands {like I would leave them with a crazy person}, but I still rush around like a fool. It's not like I don't see my kids through the week. I'm a stay at home mom {working nights} plus I babysit 4 others. It was a decision I chose. I didn't want to send my kids to daycare. I wanted to spend my days making their lunches and wiping their hiney's. And don't get me wrong I love every minute of it...most days. But sometimes I need a BREAK!! I break up fights ALL day, sweep up crumbs, and someone is constantly hungry. Some days I think "oh just 1 hour of peace would be awesome." But then when I am offered that "peace" I rush through it. I need to learn to not beat myself up. I'm a good mom, and my kids love me, so I deserve some 'me' time. My mom offers all the time to take them for the day, so I can go do something, or just stay home ALONE, but I always turn her down. I figure if I'm home doing stuff then there is no reason my kids can't be with me. Why do we do this as mothers? Everyone deserves a break once in a while. I should take one more often. I know it would make me a far less crabby and stressed out mama! I'm going to start trying, I mean REALLY trying to get some of this 'me' time I hear so much about. Today I'm going to the grocery....alone. I WILL take my time, maybe even go down every aisle. Wild, I know! Yeah it's not exactly pampering, but at least I don't have 2 kids fighting over who gets to hold the list.

What I Will Do

So today is the day. The day were I'm suppose to list all the things I ~~hope~~ plan to accomplish in the new year. It's kind of stressful I think. Everyone asks "what's your resolution?" What if I don't really have any resolutions? I mean yeah I have some stuff I want to do, but it's crap that I have ~~needed~~ wanted to do the past 29 years of my life (ok maybe not that many, but you get the point!). I probably don't need to wait til new years to do them. I should of started most of them forever ago, and KEPT UP with them. That's the kicker. Everyone sets these high standards of resolutions, only to set themselves up for failure. That's just my opinion anyway. So anyway here's my list of "to do's" for the year....lets cross our fingers and hope for the best!! Oh, and my list may seem piddly, but like I said why set myself up for failure! I'm listing things that I am sure I can actually accomplish ~~if I don't turn into a lazy slob of a person~~.

1. Wash my face EVERY NIGHT before bed. I don't know why this is so hard for me! I do good for about ~~1 day~~ a week, then I quit. I know it's bad for my skin, and supposedly ages you more, but I still snooze in my mascara.

2. Make beds EVERY DAY. Once again, not that hard! The only times our bed get made is when the sheets are changed or if company is coming. I just never really see the point in making it. I mean you're just going to sleep in it again later. However, I do love when they are made just because of the "neatness" it makes in the room. Really I would only have to make 2 of our 3. Jax is pretty good at making his now days. Granted it's not done to my OCD standards, but its done! Plus it teaches him some responsibility.

3. Date night with the husband. Some people have them once a week, well that's not feasible for us (see #6). I'm shooting for once a month. No kids, just me and him doing whatever our little hearts desire.

4. No more paper towels. We go through them like there is no tomorrow. Actually if we keep it up there may not be a tomorrow for our Earth. Okay that may be a little exaggerated! I've already ordered some cloth napkins from Etsy, and they should be here this week. I haven't broke these news to Den yet, he will probably crap himself!

5. Recycle! I have no excuse other than total laziness as to why I don't recycle. I will do it though!! I'm going to purchase containers and set them up in the garage. I'm sure by doing this our trash will be cut in half. (sad I know)

6. SAVE, SAVE, SAVE. We save fairly well, but need to start hitting it harder. We started Dave Ramsey 2 years ago today, and let me just say that man is my hero! (how infomercial was that) He has simple, easy steps that have helped us to pay off all our debt except our home, and lake house. The lake house was a late buy, but was worth it because we have such a fun time as a family there!

7. Set up a cleaning schedule. It's no secret that I have a touch of OCD, but I would still like some order to my madness. I HATE doing baseboards and windows, so they only get done for spring cleaning. I want to change this to about once a month. I figure if I do a couple rooms a week it shouldn't be too bad, right?

8. 30 Day Shred. (had to throw in some exercise stuff, I mean it is new years resolutions!) Oh Jillian how I love to hate her! I started doing the workout last year. I was a trooper and did it for about 4 months, then summer came and I got lazy. But I will start it again! I felt so much better when she was making me look like a pansy. And trust me you WILL feel like a pansy if you do this workout! My muscles are quivering just typing about it!

So there you have it my list of "to do's" for the year, or hopefully for life! What are your guys resolutions? I'd be welcome to pointers on mine :)

This is a tough one for me. I keep sitting here staring at the computer thinking about it. I'm sure there are things I'm insecure about, but I feel none are worthy of a post. I'm like any woman I have my body insecurities and such, but should I have those...NO! I would have to say one insecurity I would like to change is my voice. Not the way it sounds, but that sometimes when I voice my opinion I wish I hadn't. Why do I do that? My opinion is just as important as the next guys, right? I always second guess myself after I've said something. I'm not shy by any means, but sometimes think I shouldn't have said what I said, when I said it. I'm going to work on that.

Going to horse shows when I was little, even though it wasn't my thing I made alot of friendships that way, and wouldn't change it for the world

Last night I got my early birthday present. Denny and I went to see John Mellencamp at Clowes Memorial Hall at Butler University. It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!! It was my first time seeing him, and in my opinion, it was the only way to see him. It was a small auditorium where I feel like he is at his finest. I can picture him at his very first shows like that. Just him and his band singing his legendary songs. I kept alot of my books from college, at least the ones I thought would be useful again someday. I've packed my anatomy books around from house to house, and we all know how HEAVY they are! Well I finally used them again today. Probably not for the reason they are meant to be used, but it worked!

They are the best "tent holder upper" EVER! See all that weight is good for something other than breaking your back! ha The kids are having a heck of a time playing in it :)
